About Me

I am Dr. Tomi Oyesola but most people just call me Dr. Tomi. I am passionate about ensuring that you live a very balanced and fulfilled life. My journey through life has been a roller coaster but it always doesn't have to be that way. My career journey and my personal life which includes my family life has been balanced in recent years. So, I like to share my experiences and the lessons I learn along the way. I have been in the financial services industry for over two decades and it has been a fantastic journey. To be honest, it has been challenging but life in itself is full of challenges but we always overcome. How we overcome them is a function of our approach to life. Our approach to life should be positive and optimistic. I am an educationist also. I deliver lectures and facilitate various courses in some business schools in Nigeria. I speak on a number of topics from finance, entrepreneurship, customer service, business etiquette, ethics and values amongst others. Last year, on the 14th of October to be precise, I launched my debut book titled, "Psychology In The Workplace" and it has 16 great chapters that cuts across diversity & inclusion, conflict management, understanding character traits, work-life integration etc. I studied accounting as my first degree and then a post graduate diploma from the University of Liverpool. I have an MBA from the University of Bangor and also, a Chartered Banker Nigeria, UK and South Wales. I obtained a PhD in Credit & Financial Management thereafter and even an LLM from the University of South Wales. I love reading, speaking engagements and I have continued with my learnings. We should always continue to learn new things as we go along our life's journey. Education in different respects is very vital to our growth as individuals.
