About Me

I’m Harold van Embden, a Dutch coach and consultant with 15+ years of experience in youth care and family-based support. I’ve worked for years in complex, high-stakes systems where clarity, boundaries and trust are not “nice to have,” but essential. That background shapes my coaching today: practical, human, and focused on real change rather than quick fixes. I’m trained as a (CTA) Certified Professional Coach (Level 1) and I coach in Dutch and English. While my base is in Spain, I work internationally (online) with clients in different countries and cultures. My core focus areas are executive coaching, leaders who want sharper decisionmaking, calm authority and sustainable performance. Youth and family coaching (connection, responsibility and stability), and life coaching for individuals who want direction and personal ownership. My style is warm, direct and reflective. I listen carefully for patterns, assumptions and the deeper meaning behind words and I help clients turn insight into concrete action and accountability, without losing empathy. I’m pursuing credentialing and mentoring because I want strong professional standards, ongoing feedback, and a community that takes quality and ethics seriously.
