About Me
Matthew is a former CEO, senior executive and board director with over three decades of experience leading telecoms, technology, and consumer businesses in multiple regions - mostly across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia His work has included major transformations, re-establishing commercial competitiveness, team leadership & culture renewal, and building trusted partnerships. He is familiar with today’s challenges in ambiguous, complex and volatile markets, guiding organisations through crisis, or helping leaders navigate difficult transitions. Matthew is now advising and mentoring clients where he can apply his commercial, leadership and broad international / multicultural experience to individuals and teams. Matthew graduated from Oxford University in Physics, has a Masters degree in International Management from McGill, and a certificate in International Practicing Management from INSEAD. He has the UK Institute of Directors certificate in company direction for board directors, and is an IMC Certified Professional Mentor. He has British and Australian citizenship and is currently based in the UAE. Married with 3 children. Enjoys swimming, cycling, occasional triathlons, following sport, and listening to jazz.
